About Me

Photography has offered me the opportunity to find beauty in the ordinary subjects around us. Things and places, we take for granted as we go through our daily lives. While I have been interested in photography for many years, it is only recently I have worked to obtain images that make the ordinary, extraordinary. I live in Petaluma, California where this little city is abundant with beautiful images. One only has to take the time to look around, especially at the correct time of day, and an image may just present itself to you. I am fortunate enough to be retired and have the time to get out at all hours of the day and night to find the lighting and locations to present an image of our community in a very positive way. Many photographers concentrate on one specialty such as landscape, portraits, wedding etc. I most enjoy taking photographs of people. However, I try to challenge myself to capture a wide variety of images, some grand and some insignificant. I find a great deal of pleasure in finding and photographing the unusual and hopefully from a different point of view. My hope is you will enjoy the images you will see here.
